The call for papers for the ACM IMX 2025 conference is now open. The conference will take place from June 3-6 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This is the first time the event is being organized in Latin America.

The Ílhavo Aging Laboratory celebrated its 3rd anniversary on January 17th! It was an event filled with memorable moments, including musical performances by the lab’s participants.

Representing DigiMedia, the post-doctoral researcher Ana Velhinho won a fellowship from Freepik to attend a Summer School in Málaga (Spain), dedicated to the sustainability and etics of AI in Digital Humanities, relevant to the research within the ongoing project Polariscope.

The Social iVX team will be hosting a special guest in the upcoming days: Professor Luís Fernando Morales Morante from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. The researcher will spend two days at the Department of Communication and Art (DeCA).

Social iVX was present at the jAUTI2023 conference – XII Jornadas Iberoamericanas sobre Aplicaciones y Usabilidad de la TV Interactiva. The event was held as part of the Cybersociety 2023 congress, which took place in Havana, Cuba.

Juliana Camargo and Tiffany Marques, PHD students in the ICPD program and members of the Social iTV group, presented their work at the IMX 2023.

The ACM IMX 2022 was hosted by the University of Aveiro, from 22 to 24 June 2022 and had the Social iTV group in its organization.
